FAKE STONES VASE / THREE
Item Description
This "fake" stone pile is a collaboration with ceramic artist Ichinotani. It's inspired by the countless stone piles that cover the entire surface of Amanoyasugawara (Miyazaki Prefecture, the designer's birthplace). Stone piles are still used in many places today for a variety of purposes, including talismans, religious services, and funerals. By mixing two types of clay, a marbled river stone pattern is recreated, and after two firings, the piece is painstakingly polished to mimic the texture of stone. The word "stone pile," derived from the Japanese word "Sainokawara," is a metaphor for "wasted effort." The "just stone" that results from the relentless polishing evokes a sense of tragedy reminiscent of Yoshiharu Tsuge's "The Incompetent Man." It expresses the designer's own identity while also inviting us to reconsider the beauty we see in our everyday lives.

Caring for Sterling Silver Jewelry <br/>We recommend cleaning your silver jewelry regularly using warm water with a few drops of mild detergent and a 925 silver polishing cloth. Gently remove any surface dirt or tarnish. After cleaning, allow it to dry completely before polishing and storing it in its sealed bag to ensure its longevity.
Care for coated (plated) items : After use, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth to remove sweat, sebum, and dirt. To prevent discoloration and scratches, store the item in a jewelry box or pouch after use.
Be sure to remove the watch when showering, bathing, swimming, or exercising. Avoid strong friction or impact as this may cause the plating to peel off.
